Having spoken to the apprentice of our gym, and the bug gym I have found out that the bug leader is no longer active and I have assumed the role of dual-leader. We also introduce the bug apprentice as our new apprentice, so please welcome Apprentice: jiggliusceasar.

We will be taking on their members also, which you can find out more about at http://community.livejournal.com/pokeleague_bug/

Lets have some fun with this dual typing and if you need advice, contact either myself, djcrimsonfox or jiggliusceaser

Fighting/Bug
Fighting: Ralts, Shroomish, Meditite
Bug: Nincada, Heracross, Scyther

Greetings! I'm very excited to join up with the fighting gym. As a certified member of the Underutilized Types Fan Club, I look forward to showing the world that big beefy brawlers and small annoying insects can take on anything the Pokémon world can throw at us!

...and seeing what we can do about those pesky flying types...

By way of introduction, I'm a breeding aficionado - I love finding all sorts of strange and (hopefully) functional move sets, and then figuring out what seven-step breeding chain is required to bring it into being. I've been playing since R/B, and have participated in a couple of the official Nintendo-run tournaments.

My AIM name is WhiteRoseDue1ist, though I don't use it all that much unless I'm expecting to chat, but if you catch me online, I'll be happy to discuss any aspect of the Pokéverse with you.

Heracross ascendant!

Heracross, Rhyperior and Weavile are staying from the old team, so they're ready to go. Togekiss just needs to finish up his effort ribbon. The other two should be ready with plenty of time to spare, but are still just glimmers in their parents' eyes.

Um, hey...

Are the starters staying the same? Mankey, Riolu, Croagunk, Heracross, Nincada, and Wurmple?

I was wondering if there was consideration to change anything, if something other than Wurmple could be used instead. Maybe Venonat or Yanma. Or Burmy, if you wanted something as novel as Wurmple. Just wondered...

I want to try using Masquerain, myself.

Feel free to bring any of those into your team, that'd be great to get a nice variation. Yanma's pretty awesome to use though I kind of went for three that I knew would be able to help balance out the fighters in our teams, and likewise I chose three fighters who start out in other forms that might compliment bug's weakness or provide an alternative.
